Built for Mac, our apps take your Movie and TV files and properly format their file names for maximum compatibility with your home media server. Simply drag and drop your file with its simple file name, and Dining Room will find the intended movie/episode using TMDB and allow you to rename your file with your server's preferred format!
Plex is currently supported; Emby and Jellyfin are the next course!
Setup
Dining Room Media apps require a free
TMDB API key.

for instructions on creating your account and obtaining your API key.
We apologize that our apps are unsigned. If macOS security warnings are triggered, you'll have to manually give the apps permission to run. In the first popup, select "Done." Then in System Settings, select "Privacy & Security" in the left-hand menu. In that page, scroll down until you see "Dining Room Movie/TV was blocked to protect your Mac." and select "Open Anyway." There will then be one more prompt to verify this, and you'll select "Open Anyway" once more. Then confirm the action by entering your password. The screenshots below should help walk you through this process.
